Drabble: Young magic
Who: Loki and Thor
Where: Odin's palace
When: They were very young.
What's this about: Loki wanted to show his brother a his first mastered spell and others laughed.
"Thor! Thor!" The younger price's voice called out, the boy always dressed to greens yellows blacks was contrast to his older brother but the two always seemed right standing at the sides of their mother and father. Loki was a clingy child, always around his mother or bother when he could it had only been recently that the two were seeing less and less of each other because Loki had begun magic lessions to try to make up for his small stature while Thor was learning the art of warfare from the greatest warriors of the land.
Hearing the younger Thor turned to see the smaller Odinson come running up to him from down the hall, he was smiling from ear to ear. Thor and his friends The warriors three stood watching the younger. "Thor! You must see!" He held his hands out towards his brother who reached back out for him only to have his hands slapped "Loki!" He called out as Loki looked at him like he was stupid "I did not say touch, watch. and pay attention!"
The four watched as Loki put his hands back out, slowly but surly water started to form around his hands swirling around and around his hands as he held them out moving his hands up the swirling water moved down his arms but didn't wet his clothes at all, Thor was watching impressed by the pretty desplay of magic, klast time his brother had tried to use water for a spell they all ended up drenched and learned just how much Odin didn't like being slammed with water. To have such control already after such a mess days before Loki had to have been studying.
It was then that a laugh could be heard one of the other gods walking by "Isn't that a woman's spell?" one of the two laughing spoke as they walked by Loki's concentration broke by the laughter in his direction. He hated being laughed at, that moment of destraction and the water dropped drenching the young mage. He looked like a drowned cat standing before the others. Laughter ran out from all directions as Loki turned to hurry off, Thor shotting a glare to their friends as he chased after Loki.
"Brother! Brother stop!" It took him near an hour to find his brother whom was sitting between the wall of the palace and some of their mother's more beautiful plants. "Brother, they were merely making a jest. You must not let theses things bother you so." Thor spoke grasping his baby brother's shoulder AS Loki looked up at him.
"One day, one day they will laugh no more when they see me. They will be in awe and respect of both of the sons of Odin."
Thor smirked from ear to ear yanking his brother up "That's right Loki! You and me together, we are unstoppable. Nothing will break our bond!"
It was then that the horn was blown to summon the gods for a feast, both young Demigods grinning at each other before racing off to try and out run the other. Thor could always make his brother feel better.
